August 31st 2008 - Breakfast - Bumbershoot Day 2

I woke up around 8:30 am

It is now almost 10 am

I am having oatmeal - 150 Cal + 190 Cal = 340 Cal

Coffee - maybe or water

BumberShoot Day 1 - Seattle Washington - Drive & Festival

Well let me see

I left Washougal a little before 10 am
I arrived around 1300 hrs

I then took public transit to the festival - there is a bus right by hotel and then an express to downtown seattle then another bus to the festival - it was nice not driving - also helps the planet a little bit

I ate an apricot - cliff bar in the AM - orangejuice and water in my nalgene bottle

then at the hotel i had a peanut butter and bread sandwich and some baked kettle chips

I then headed out to the festival

I had a potato and garbanzo bean curry with garlic Nann

I had some sample of RockStar energy drink

I had a protein bar - free

I had a Miller Lite

I had a Diet Rockstar

I had a Starbucks DOuble Shot on Ice

I had a Venti Americano

I then bused back to Hotel

I climbed the big hill to hotel

I ate two slices of bread and had a relaxing bath

Well I have not yet taken a shower or had breakfast
I will have a small breakfast this morning and then get right to work as it is raining today and overcast here in Washougal, WA. I am working to complete the dissertation today with outstanding editing and other work to be completed tomorrow as necessary. My parents have gone to get the ML500 serviced in Portland.

I am catching up on email and then taking a shower - will update throughout the day

Had my scale brought to Washington - weight as of the morning of August 17th 2008

358 Lbs -- this was down from 362 the night before (8-16-08)

Will have a check of my weight as I continue my time in Washington State.

Heat rice in large pan and then add eggs
Mix until egg cooked
put in bowl

then add a little soy sauce
ketchup
and a hint of strawberry jam

Biscuit to try seedless blackberry jam which was purchased for my dad


NO lunch -- since a late breakfast

Chicken New Orleans - Which is diced chicken - lightly breaded in egg and flour
fried in a pan with Champagne

Very tasty - also a bread roll

Pasta with read sauce - not my favorite ate very little

desert - slice of smores pie -- delicious

Coffee w/ 1/2 and 1/2

Work from 10:30 - 11:00 am to 10:00 pm on dissertation almost complete
