I woke up late which was weird because - I was fine with sleeping in until say 9:30 so when I woke up and it was 9:15 I said I will lay in for another bit of time but then all of a sudden I woke up again and it was 11:00 Am -- Wow

So then I came downstairs was informed Uncle John was coming by in 40 minutes and to get ready and we would get some food -- so I went to Beijing Chinese Buffet

So Self Reflection
I started the day late and did not eat breakfast - I did not find myself tirelessly hungry during the day but I would have enjoyed some eggs and toast in the morning with coffee. But one must WAKE up in the morning to have such things.
I do enjoy the lean cuisine sandwiches because they allow me to take a break during my work on my paper and at the same time avoid time around food - I know this is counter to established rules but it allows me to avoid grazing or snacking that I am really doing out of boredom but it is not assisting me in my relationship with food - i will have to work on this
Dinner - was a good meal - it had a nice salad which was quite tasty and a nice lean cuisine once again since I was working and the meals were sporadic this evening - I also enjoyed the bread of which i most likely only needed one slice - but I wanted two - becuase once i had the first piece i wanted more.
I have not exercised today - but I will not exercise in the future.
I was reviewing dissertation survey responses today and selecting ones for insertion into my paper.

I had a wonderful Spinach Salad, with cut strawberry, chopped nuts, craisins, and a small amount of cheese. This was accented with a spinach dressing by Girard because it is 70 Cal for 2 tbsp - I considered the Balsamic and Olive Oil alternative but Olive Oil is 120 Cal / tbsp and Balsamic which is not substantial but 10 Cal / tbsp -- so in the long run it would be almost double

Then I had an orange chicken, with broccoli, and rice - lean cuisine - since the family wasn't in a cooking mood - My dad's stomach had been bad recently and he needs to see a doctor -- so he ate mashed potato

Spinach Salad - 70 Cal dressing - 150 Cal spinach and assorted toppings = 220 Cal
Lean Cuisine Orange Chicken - 390 Calories
Two Slices Bread - 110 Cal x 2 = 220 Cal

TOTAL DINNER = 220+390+220 = 830 Calories

Well - the vacation in Washington is coming to an end
We will be leaving at 6 am on the 8th of July - I am watching the wimbeldon men's final where it is 19:50 in the UK -- I wish I was sort of at wimbeldon - never been but I think it would be cool to go and watch the tennis.

I have not consumed anything this morning - I will write when I do

July 5th - Adventures in Portland - Hollywood District

After breakfast - we organized a rental car to take us to the airport on tuesday morning
it took awhile and rental cars are going crazy at this point in time but I found one with AVIS

So then we left to go to Home Depot (B&Q) and along the way we went to a chevrolet dealership that had Avalanche for 13,000 off MSRP. Russ Chevrolet -- we looked they didnt want to deal we left. We went to home depot and then we went to the Hollywood District

This is a quaint area of Portland which was really pleasant and had a wonderful mix of restaurants and other shops - like Trader Joes (really cool supermarket)

SO we ate at a restaurant called the Laurelwood Public House - I believe which was a micro brewrey and also had wonderful meals.

I ate:

Black & Bleu Burger (medium)
which had a blackened seasoning and bleu cheese - lettuce, tomato, onion
garlic fries, there fries with garlic, cliantro, and parmeasean cheese
Pint of Space Stout - delicious
A Sampler try of their beers - 9 in total - each 1 to 2 oz
1 slice quesadilla - which I did not need

I ate one item which was 3 marshmellow and chocolate from the Rocky Mountain Candy Company - It was purchased while I was not at the mall. My dad tried to get me to eat more but in the end I ate this. I assume it must have around 500 Cal.

Family Mis-Adventure in Portland Oregon - 2725 Cal

Well the previous post has me at 1985 Cal

I went out to get my hair cut, purchase sodas and liquor
I purchased the liquor and various sundries and was then called by my mother with news that I needed to come and pick them up as that the truck had broken down and needed repair. I ventured from washington to portland and picked them up at a Cafe.

I drank some tea and had a short stack of blueberry pancakes and then we ventured to a chevrolet store in downtown portland to look at a new vehicle and after that we returned home all by 9 pm

So while I have been out I have eaten

syrup - 100 cal

so for the final total since there is NO eating after 8 pm
